Bathua Soup | बथुआ सूप

Bathua Soup  Ingredients : Bathua (Chenopodium) - 500 gm Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste Ginger (chopped) - 2 tbsp Green Chillies (chopped) - 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp Desi ghee - 1.5 tbsp Cream - 1 tbsp and for garnishing (optional) Method : 1. Clean bathua by plucking leaves and removing sticks and grass 2. Wash it with clean water 2 times 3. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan 4. Add ginger and saute for a while 5. Add green chillies and let them cook for few seconds 6. Now add the bathua leaves and 1/2 tsp salt and mix well 7. Cover it and cook on low flame till bathua becomes soft 8. Remove from fire and let it cool 9. Grind the bathua mixture in a grinder 10. Again heat 1/2 tbsp ghee in a pan 11. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter 12. Add bathua paste and 2 cup water, 1/2 tsp salt 13. Let it boil and cook for about 3-4 minutes after boiling 14. Add 1 tbsp cream and mix well 15. Remove from fire and add lemon juice and mix it 16. Serve hot healthy tasty bathua soup

Hari Matar ki Chat | Matar ki Ghugni | Green Peas Chaat | हरी मटर की चाट

Hari Matar ki Chat  Ingredients : Green Peas - 3 cup Mustard Oil - 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp Ginger (grated) - 1 tbsp Green Chillies (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste Coriander powder - 1 tsp Chat masala - 1 tsp Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp Papdi / Sev for garnishing (optional) Method : 1. Heat oil in a pan 2. Add cumin seeds and allow to splutter 3. Add in ginger and green chillies and saute for a minute 4. Add green peas, salt and mix well 5. Cover and cook on low flame till peas are tender 6. Keep stirring in between 7. To check, take a pea in the spoon and press it with your finger, if it crushes easily, the peas have become tender 8. Add coriander powder and mix well 9. Cover and cook for 1-2 minutes 10. Remove from fire, add lemon juice, chat masala, coriander leaves and mix nicely 11. Serve hot plain or garnished with sev or papdi हरी मटर की चाट  सामग्री : हरी मटर - ३ कप  सरसों का तेल - १ टेबल स्पून  जीरा - १ टी स्पून अदरक

Bathua Aloo Bharwa Paratha | बथुआ आलू भरवा पराठा

  Bathua Aloo Bharwa Paratha  Ingredients : Bathua - 500 gm Potato (boiled) - 4 (medium size) Ginger (grated) - 1 tbsp Green Chilli - 2-3 (finely chopped) Salt - 1.5 tsp Hing (Asafoetida)- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp Mustard Oil - 2 tbsp Wheat Flour - 4 cup Refined oil - 2-3 tbsp Method: 1. Clean bathua by plucking leaves and removing sticks and grass 2. Wash it with clean water 2 times 3. Put 2 cup water in bathua and let it boil, covered with a lid 4. Cook it for 5-6 minutes 5.  Remove bathua from fire and strain.  6. When the bathua has cooled, press it between palms to remove as much water as you can.  7. Keep the excess water of bathua aside 8. Heat Mustard Oil in a pan 9. Add Hing, cumin seeds and stir 10. Now add ginger and  green chilly  and stir for 1 minute 11. Add boiled bathua and 1/2 tsp salt and mix well 12. Cook it for 3-4 minutes or till the water has evaporated 13. Mash the boiled potatoes 14. Add the mashed potatoes in bathua and stir for a while 15. Remove it from
