Sabut Moong Dal Pakode (Makar Sankranti Special) | साबुत मूंग दाल पकोड़े - मंगोड़े (मकर संक्रांति विशेष)

Sabut Moong Dal Pakode Ingredients : Whole moong dal - 2 cups Ginger (chopped) - 1 inch Garlic cloves - 5 Green chillies (broken to 2 pieces) - 2 Hing - 1/2 tsp Amchur powder - 1 tsp Salt - 1 tsp or as required Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp Coriander seeds - 1/2 tbsp Fennel seeds - 1 tsp Radish (grated) - 2 tbsp Green coriander (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp Method : 1. Soak whole moong dal for 8-10 hours or overnight 2. Drain out water from soaked moong dal and transfer it into a mixer jar 3. Add chopped ginger, garlic, green chillies, hing, amchur powder, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds 4. Now add about 1/3 cup water and grind it to a thick paste 5. Dry roast coriander seeds and fennel seeds for a minute and then pound them coarsely in a mortar pestle  6. Add coarse coriander and fennel seeds to the dal paste 7. Mix nicely  8. Arbi Ke Patte Ke Patode Ingredients : Arbi (Colocassia) leaves - 250 gms Besan - 2 cup Ginger (chopped) - 1 inch Green chillies (chopped) - 4 Amchur powder - 1 tsp Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tbsp Salt - 1 tsp Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp Hing - 1/4 tsp Ajwain - 1/4 tsp Chat masala for sprinkling Method : 1. Wash all Arbi leaves thoroughly. Pat them dry using a kitchen towel 2. Cut the thick stems of leaves from the back of leaves using knife carefully so that the leaves don't break 3. Make a paste of ginger and green chillies by adding very little water 4. In a mixing bowl add besan, salt, ajwain, hing, amchur powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder 5. Mix nicely 6.
