Whole Moong Dal with Spinach Ingredients : Whole Moong dal - 1 cup Mustard Oil - 2 tbsp Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp Tomatoes (cut into halves) - 2  Green chilly (roughly chopped) - 1 Spinach leaves - 250 gm Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Hing (Asafoetida) - 1/4 tsp Slit green chilly - 1 Dry red chilly (broken into pieces) - 1 Onion (Finely chopped) - 1/2 cup Ginger (grated) - 1/2 tsp Garlic (finely chopped) - 1/2 tsp Method : 1. Wash and soak moong dal for 4-5 hours 2. Heat 1 tbsp mustard ol in a cooker till smoky 3. Add soaked moong dal without water in it 4. Roast for 2-3 minutes on high flame 5. Add 3/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and roast again till the raw smell of turmeric gets over  6. After roasting for about 1 minute add the tomatoes, chopped green chilly and 2 cups of water 7. Close the lid and cook the Dal for 3 whistles 8. Let the pressure of cooker release ...
