Carrot Paratha | Gajar Ka Paratha | गाजर का पराठा

Carrot Paratha Ingredients : Carrots (grated) - 1.5 cups Whole wheat flour - 1.5 cups Green Coriander (finely chopped) - 2 tbsp Onion (finely chopped) - 2 tbsp Ginger (grated) - 1 tsp Green chillies (finely chopped) - 1/2 tsp Curry leaves  (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp Oil - 1 tbsp Salt - 1/2 tsp or as per taste Oil for roasting parathas Method : 1. Add 1.5 cups of whole wheat flour into a thali or mixing bowl.  2. Add 1/2 tsp salt or as required and mix 3. Now add 1.5 cups grated carrots , 2 tbsp finely chopped onions, 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 1/2 tsp finely chopped green chili, 1 tsp finely chopped ginger, 1 tbsp chopped curry leaves. 4. Mix everything very well with your finger tips. 5. Soon the carrots will start leaving moisture.  6. Pour ¼ cup of water or as required. Since carrots leave moisture add water wisely. 7. Namak Ajwain Paratha | नमक अजवाइन पराठा

Namak Ajwain Paratha Ingredients: Whole wheat flour - 2 cups Oil - 2 tbsp Salt - 2 tsp Ajwain (Carom seeds) - 2 tsp Oil for roasting / frying Method : 1. Take whole wheat flour in a big bowl or plate and add salt, ajwain 2. Mix well using your fingers. 3. Add oil and mix well 4. Add water and knead a soft dough. 5. Apply little oil on the dough and cover it and keep aside for 30 minutes. 6. Heat a griddle or Tawa TRIANGLE PARATHA 7. Take lemon size portion from the dough. Dust and roll the dough ball to make a 4 inch circle. 8. Apply oil on the circle and sprinkle little dry flour and fold the sides to make a semi circle. 9. Apply oil again and then fold to make a triangle. 10. Dust and roll again to make a 5 inch triangle. 11. The paratha should not be too thin as the roti. It should be a little thick. 12. Wheat Flour Poori Ingredients : Wheat flour - 1 cup Refined Oil - 1 tbsp Water as required (about 1/2 cup) Oil for deep frying Method : 1. Put wheat flour in a big and deep plate 2. Make a hole in the center and add 1/2 tbsp oil 3. Mix oil in the entire flour nicely 4. Pour 2 tbsp water and begin to make a dough 5. Add more water as needed to make a little stiff tight dough 6. Smear 1/4 tbsp oil and knead lightly and smoothen the dough. (Do not knead it a lot) 7. Divide the dough to 10 to 12 portions. 8.  Smoothen all the balls by pressing them lightly in between your palms and keep them covered in a bowl.. 9. Drizzle little oil on the rolling board 10. Wheat Flour Roti & Paratha Ingredients : Wheat Flour - 2 cups Water - little more than 1 cup Oil / Ghee - 1/2 tbsp Method : 1. Put wheat flour in a big and deep plate 2. Make a hole in the middle of the wheat flour and pour some water. 3. Mix this water in the wheat flour 4. Keep adding water little by little and mixing the flour in this water 5. Don't add too much water at a time and try to form a dough by mixing the wet flour with dry wheat flour. 6. As the dough starts taking shape, apply pressure with your fist on it to make it smooth 7. It requires little more than 1 cup of water to make a smooth dough. Although it also depends on the quality of wheat flour. 8. Keep applying pressure with your fists to give the dough smoothness. 9. Gather the dough again and again apply pressure with your fists 10. If you feel the dough is too hard, apply little water and again knead it. 11. The dough is ready to make roti or parathas 12.
