One Pot Vegetable Mangodi Tahiri / Pulao
Vegetable Mangodi Tahiri Ingredients: Basmati rice - 2 cups Mangodi - 1 cup Green Peas - 3/4 cup Potato (Cut in big pieces) - 1 cup Onion (thinly sliced) - 1 cup Ginger (grated) - 1 tbsp Green chillies (slit) - 2 Desi ghee - 3 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Garam masala - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Bay leaf - 1 Cloves - 6-7 Cinnamon stick - 1/2 " Black Cardamom - 2 Salt as per taste Method: 1. Rinse the rice in clean water 3-4 times 2. Soak the rice in water for 20 minutes 3. In a pressure cooker add 2 tbsp ghee 4. Add the mangodi and shallow fry them on low heat 5. When they have turned golden brown take them out in a plate 6. In the same cooker add 1 tbsp ghee 7. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves 8. Saute for few seconds 9.
