Gur Wali Kheer | Gurer Payesh | Rice Kheer with Jaggery | गुड़ वाली खीर। गुरेर पायेश

Gur Ki Kheer Ingredients : Full cream milk - 1 ltr Rice (medium or small grain) - 1/4 cup Powdered jaggery(preferably date jaggery) - 1/2 cup Almonds (soaked, peeled and chopped) - 1 tbsp Cashew nuts (chopped) - 1 tbsp Pistachios (chopped) - 1 tbsp Golden raisins - 1 tbsp Green cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp Method : 1. Wash rice nicely and soak in water for 15 minutes 2. Heat milk in a heavy bottomed pan 3. As soon as the milk comes to a boil, lower the flame 4. Remove rice from water and add to the milk 5. Mix and cook on low medium flame for 15-20 minutes 6. Keep on stirring in between so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan 7. Add raisins, chopped almonds, chopped pistachios, chopped cashew, chopped walnuts and mix 8. Add cardamom powder, mix and cook for 10-12 minutes more 9. Vermicelli Kheer With Jaggery | गुड़ की सेवइयां खीर

Vermicelli Kheer With Jaggery Ingredients : Milk - 3 cups Vermicelli (seviyan / semiya) - 1/2 cup Jaggery - 1 cup Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp Cashew nuts (Cut into halves)- 10-12 Raisins - 10-12 Almonds (chopped) - 10-12 Ghee - 2 tbsp Method : 1. Add jaggery in a pan with 1 cup of warm water. 2. Heat it on medium flame and cook for 2-3 minutes by stirring in between 3. Take it off the flame and let it cool 4. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan on medium flame. 5. Add cashew nuts and roast them till they turn light golden 6. Take them out in a plate 7. Now fry raisins till they fluff up and take them out in a plate 8. Now add vermicelli in the same pan and roast for 3-4 minutes on medium flame stirring continuosly. 9. Til Ladoo (Easy and soft) | तिल लड्डू

Til Ladoo Ingredients : Sesame seeds (Til) - 1 cup Jaggery (Gud) - 3/4 cup (coarse powder) Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp Desi ghee - 1/2 tbsp Method : 1. Heat a pan and add sesame seeds in it 2. Dry roast the sesame seeds till they spultter and pop up nicely 3. Make sure to keep stirring, otherwise the til will get burnt 4. Take them out in plate and let them cool down 5. Transfer the roasted sesame seeds in a grinder 6. Grind for just 5 seconds to make a coarse powder 7. Add jaggery, cardamom powder and desi ghee in the sesame powder  8. Grind it for few seconds so that every thing gets mixed nicely 9. Check if the mixture is binding and ready to form ladoo 10. If it is dry then add little more jaggery or ghee and grind it 11. Jaggery (Gud) Paratha | गुड़ पराठा

Jaggery (Gud) Paratha Ingredients : Whole wheat flour - 2 cup Jaggery (Gud) - 2 cup (small pieces) White sesame seeds - 1 tsp Cashew nuts powder - 1 tbsp Almonds powder - 1 tbsp Pistachios powder - 1 tbsp Raisins (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp Desi Ghee to fry parathas Method : 1. Take flour in a bowl and adding water little by little knead a soft dough 2. In a separate bowl mix jaggery, sesame seeds, cashew powder, almond powder, pistachios powder and raisins 3. Divide the dough into 8-10 portions and make a ball of each portion 4. Take a ball and roll it into a thick circle 5. Place 2 tbsp jaggery mixture in the center of the circle and fold it from all sides to close it 6. Now with light hand roll this filled dough into a paratha 7.
