Sabut Moong Dal Pakode Ingredients : Whole moong dal - 2 cups Ginger (chopped) - 1 inch Garlic cloves - 5 Green chillies (broken to 2 pieces) - 2 Hing - 1/2 tsp Amchur powder - 1 tsp Salt - 1 tsp or as required Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp Coriander seeds - 1/2 tbsp Fennel seeds - 1 tsp Radish (grated) - 2 tbsp Green coriander (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp Method : 1. Soak whole moong dal for 8-10 hours or overnight 2. Drain out water from soaked moong dal and transfer it into a mixer jar 3. Add chopped ginger, garlic, green chillies, hing, amchur powder, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds 4. Now add about 1/3 cup water and grind it to a thick paste 5. Dry roast coriander seeds and fennel seeds for a minute and then pound them coarsely in a mortar pestle 6. Add coarse coriander and fennel seeds to the dal paste 7. Mix nicely 8.
