मखाना रेवड़ी | Makhana Revdi - Makhana Peanut Til Jaggery Caramel

Makhana Revdi Ingredients: Makhana / Lotus seeds - 100 gm Peanuts - 1/2 cup Sesame seeds /Til - 1/2 cup Jaggery - 200 gm Desi ghee - 1 tsp Cardamom powder - 1 tsp Dry ginger powder - 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp Baking Soda - a pinch Method: 1. Roast makhana in a pan on medium heat till they turn light brown and crispy 2. Take them out and let them cool 3. Roast peanuts on low flame till they turn light brown 4. Let them cool a bit and then rub between your palms to remove the peels 5. Coarsely grind the peanuts using mortar and pestle 6. Dry roast sesame seeds on low flame till they turn light golden 7. Take them out and let them cool 8. Cut jaggery into small pieces and put it to a pan  9. Cook on a low flame and add 4 tbsp water to make syrup 10. Urad Dal Khichdi | Makar Sankranti Khichdi | उरद दाल खिचड़ी (मकर संक्रांति स्पेशल)

Urad Dal Khichdi Ingredients : Split Black Gram (Urad chilka dal) - 1 cup Basmati Rice - 2 cup Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Hing - 1/2 tsp Cloves - 3 Big Cardamom - 1 Green Chillies (finely chopped) - 1 tsp Ginger (grated) - 1 tbsp Desi Ghee - 4 tsp Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste Method : 1. In a bowl mix Urad dal and Rice nicely 2. Wash it nicely 2-3 times 3. Heat ghee in a cooker 4. Add cumin seeds, cloves, big cardamom, hing and let them splutter 5. Add ginger, green chillies and saute for a minute 6. Add washed khichdi in the cooker and mix nicely 7. Add 6 cups of water, salt and give a stir 8. Close the lid of the cooker and cook for 2 whistles 9. Switch off the flame and let the pressure of cooker release on its own 10. Open the lid of the cooker and gently give a mix to the khichdi 11. Til Ladoo (Easy and soft) | तिल लड्डू

Til Ladoo Ingredients : Sesame seeds (Til) - 1 cup Jaggery (Gud) - 3/4 cup (coarse powder) Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp Desi ghee - 1/2 tbsp Method : 1. Heat a pan and add sesame seeds in it 2. Dry roast the sesame seeds till they spultter and pop up nicely 3. Make sure to keep stirring, otherwise the til will get burnt 4. Take them out in plate and let them cool down 5. Transfer the roasted sesame seeds in a grinder 6. Grind for just 5 seconds to make a coarse powder 7. Add jaggery, cardamom powder and desi ghee in the sesame powder  8. Grind it for few seconds so that every thing gets mixed nicely 9. Check if the mixture is binding and ready to form ladoo 10. If it is dry then add little more jaggery or ghee and grind it 11. 🪔  Til Bugga Recipe with Milk Powder – Makar Sankranti Special Ingredients : Til - 1.25 cup Desi Ghee - 1 tbsp Milk - 3/4 cup Milk Powder - 1 cup Powdered Sugar - 1 cup Dessicated coconut - 1 tbsp Cashew nut (chopped) - 1 tbsp Pistachios (chopped) - 1 tbsp Walnut (chopped) - 1 tbsp Green Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp Almonds (cut in half horizontally) - 10-12 Method: 🌾 Step 1: Dry Roast the Sesame Seeds (Til) Heat a pan on low flame and add white sesame seeds (til) . Dry roast them until they turn light golden and fluffy . 🔸 Be careful not to over-roast; they can turn bitter. ❄️ Step 2: Cool and Grind the Til Transfer the roasted til to a plate and let them cool completely .
