Matar Ka Nimona Ingredients : Green Peas - 2 cup Potatoes (chopped into long thick slices) - 1 cup Onion (finely chopped) - 1/2 cup Tomato (finely chopped) - 1/2 cup Green chillies (chopped) - 1 tsp Ginger (chopped) - 1 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 cup Garlic (chopped) - 1 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp Bay leaf - 1 Dry red chilli - 2 Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp Hing (asafoetida) - 1/4 tsp Mustard oil - 4 tbsp Lime juice - 1 tbsp Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste Method : 1. Grind 1.5 cup green peas to a coarse paste without adding water. 2. Boil 1/2 cup peas in 1 cup water till they become soft. 3. Remove from water and keep aside 4. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a kadahi and fry potato slices till they look cripsy and cooked 5. Take them out in a plate 6.
