Kacha Kela Curd Curry | दही कच्चे केले की सब्जी
🍛Kacha Kela Curd Curry
A flavorful and nutritious curry made with raw banana, curd, and Indian spices—perfect with roti, paratha, or rice.
Ingredients:
Raw Banana - 500 gmCurd - 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Method :
🥣 Step 1: Prepare the Curd-Spice Mix
In a bowl, combine the following:

Curd (yogurt)

Ginger-garlic paste

Red chilli powder

Coriander powder
-
Turmeric powder
-
Salt to taste
Mix well and set aside.
🍌 Step 2: Prep the Raw Bananas

Peel the raw bananas and cut them into small circular pieces.

Immediately place the pieces in water to prevent discoloration.
🍳 Step 3: Fry the Bananas

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.

Add the chopped raw banana pieces and fry for 3–5 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.

Once half cooked, remove them from the pan and set aside.
🌿 Step 4: Temper the Spices

In the same pan with remaining oil, add fenugreek seeds (methi dana).

Let them splutter and release their aroma.
🥘 Step 5: Cook the Curry Base

Add the prepared curd and spice mixture to the pan.

Cook for a few minutes until the mixture thickens and oil begins to separate.
💧 Step 6: Add Water & Simmer

Pour in 3 cups of water and bring it to a boil for 3–4 minutes.
🍲 Step 7: Add the Raw Bananas

Gently add the fried banana pieces to the boiling gravy.

Mix carefully to avoid breaking the pieces.
🔥 Step 8: Final Cooking

Cover the pan and cook on medium flame for 3–5 minutes, or until the gravy reaches the desired consistency.
🌿 Step 9: Garnish and Serve

Turn off the flame and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve hot with roti, paratha, or steamed rice.
