Shahi Paneer | शाही पनीर
Shahi Paneer Ingredients: Paneer (Cottage Cheese) - 250 gms (Cut into cubes) Ghee - 3 tbsp Onion - 1 (Chopped) Ginger - ½" piece (Chopped) Green Chilli - 1 (chopped) Tomato - 4 (chopped) Black Cardamom - 2 (crushed) Bay Leaf - 1 Cinnamon - 1" piece Cloves - 4 Cashewnuts - ½ cup Beaten curd - 1 ⁄ 4 Cup Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste Red Chilli Powder - ½ t sp Garam Masala Powder - 1 ⁄ 4 tsp Tomato Sauce - 1 tbsp Milk or Thin Cream - ½ cup Kasoor Methi - 1 tsp Coriander leaves for garnishing Method: 1. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan 2. Add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves and saute for a while 3. Add Onion, ginger, green chilli and crushed Cardamom 4. Cook until onion turns light brown 5. Add tomatoes, kasori methi, cashews and stir 6. Cook covered on low flame for 7-8 minute 7. Add Curd. Cook for 3-4 minutes. 8. Remove from fire and let it cool 9. Grind the onion tomato mixture to a puree with ½ cup water 10. Strain the puree 11 . C
