Kharbuje (Musk melon) ki Khatti Meethi Sabji
Ingredients:
Kharbuja (cut in cubes) - 2 cupsOil - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Black salt - 1/4 tsp
Green chilies (chopped) -2
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chili flakes - 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Lemon - 1 tbsp
Method:
1. Heat oil in a kadahi2. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle
3. Add kharbuja cubes, turmeric powder, salt, black salt
4. Mix nicely
5. Cover and cook on low heat without adding any water. Kharbuja will release its own water
6. Cook for 3-4 minutes stirring in between
7. Add chopped green chilies, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes
8. If you want more gravy, then you can add some water and cook
9. Add coriander powder, red chili flakes, red chili powder and mix
10. Add sugar, lemon juice and mix
11. Switch off the flame
12. Garnish with coriander leaves
13. Although this recipe has crunchy pieces but if you can mash some of the pieces
14. Khatti Meethi Kharbuja Sabji is ready to be served
15. Enjoy it with poori or paratha
